Kanika Glover, C’2005

Kanika is honored to serve as the Corresponding Secretary for the Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Spelman College.

Kanika is a proud Spelman College Class of 2005 alumna. With 15 years in education, Kanika currently serves as a high school principal, bringing a passion for leadership, student achievement, mentorship, and educational excellence to my work. Kanika holds a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, reflecting her commitment to both education and serving communities with purpose.

Beyond education, Kanika is also an entrepreneur and proud small-business owner. She owns two businesses—one specializing in creative lawn displays and another curating luxury events through elevated décor and desserts.

As Corresponding Secretary, Kanika looks forward to strengthening communication, increasing engagement, celebrating our collective accomplishments, and keeping our chapter connected and informed.

Kanika is excited to serve alongside an incredible sisterhood of Spelman women who continue to lead, serve, and make an impact in Chicago and beyond.
