Adrienna Edwards, C’1997

Adrienna is a Product Strategist and Enterprise Consultant who has achieved increasing levels of responsibility. For almost 30 years, she has focused her career on developing highly effective solutions to business challenges. Adrienna is currently the Head of Product with a global team that manages a multimillion-dollar portfolio, including the company’s flagship product.

Adrienna received her B.A. in Economics with a minor in Business Management and Organization, and later obtained her MBA.

Adrienna strives to live a life of purpose by actively seeking opportunities to serve others. For five years, she served as a board member for a nonprofit STEM program supporting young minorities. She recently became the National Director of a nonprofit organization created to improve students’ academic achievement, social behavior, and personal development.

Since returning to Chicago in 2014, Adrienna has steadily expanded her support and involvement with the Chicago Chapter of NAASC. She began by volunteering on several committees, including the Scholarship and Bylaws Committees, and later co-chaired the 2018 ACBE Biennial Fundraiser and chaired the Outreach and Recruiting Committees. She served on the Executive Committee as Financial Secretary from 2016 to 2022, President-Elect from 2022 to 2023, and President from 2023 to 2026. Adrienna has since returned to her role as Financial Secretary, where she continues to advance multi-channel dues management, improve financial documentation, and encourage membership to strengthen our Spelman Sisterhood.
