Rochelle Bryant, C’1995

Rochelle Bryant is a high school principal and dedicated community leader who serves as President-Elect of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) Chicago Chapter. As a principal in Chicago Public Schools, Rochelle has strong experience managing school buildings, budgets, and data to help students and staff succeed. Her career in public education includes many years working in both Chicago and DeKalb County schools as a teacher, team leader, and data specialist.

Rochelle has been an active member of the NAASC Chicago Chapter since 2005. She served as the chapter's Financial Secretary from 2008 to 2012 and again from 2022 to 2026. She has also led important chapter events, including serving as the ACBE Chairperson, ACBE Logistics Chairperson, and Annual Fundraiser Chairperson. In addition, she is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she serves as the chapter assistant secretary and co-chair of Founders’ Day.

Rochelle graduated from Spelman College in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in biology and natural science. She also earned a master's degree in science education from Mercer University in 2003 and a master's degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education in 2011.

In her role as President-Elect, Rochelle focuses on expanding recruitment efforts to broaden the chapter's impact and lay the groundwork for the Association's future.
